As you've read on my previous post, A concert for a cause will be held on December 16 2015 at New Performing arts theater of Resorts world manila. The concert main purpose is to spread awareness of breast cancer.
Breast cancer is a disease that affects men, women and even children. Failure to detect it and failure to get treatment in the early stages can be fatal. The fact is that 3 out of 10 women who live in the Philippines are suffering from Breast Cancer. This means that 30% of the entire female population in the country has this health ailment.
Nowadays advanced treatments are readily available for more patients to survive however these method are quite expensive. The Fact is that most people cannot afford this procedure. High unemployment rate and low minimum wage are some of the reasons why many choose to ignore Breast Cancer.
