Hey guys! Happy weekend!! How's your weekend coming along? :D Mine's going great and I have loads of things to do as usual. I have a question! Have you ever heard about the combination of Eskinol & Myra E? Well, it was a big hit on the FB group I was in so I've decided to try it and see what the fuzz is about. So this post is about this duo who is making big buzz over the internet.

What is it?
As mentioned it is a combination of Eskinol ( I think any variant would do) and Myra E vitamin E soft gel.

So what's the procedure?

Very simple!

♥Buy the Eskinol cleanser and Myra E vitamin gel (minimum of 2)
♥Combine them together by making a hole in the gel and squeezing the the liquid into Eskinol. Another way is to drop 2 capsules with holes inside the bottle
♥Shake well! (you can wait overnight until they blend together)

Is it expensive?
Its very cheap and affordable so you don't have to worry about the price. Its probably less than 100 pesos

Directions to use
Same way you use your cleanser. Use it in the morning and at night. I use it only at night since I don't usually go anywhere on weekdays and I always forget to use it in the morning :D

Effects
I am not so sure what effect it should have but there were two things I have noticed. The first major effect was about my oily face it has somewhat helped me conquered it. I have always had a very serious oily face when I wake up like you can literally fry an egg on my face ahahaha but ever since using this combo it has lessen dramatically. The second effect was that my face has become smoother and my pore has become smaller.

I know i know my chin could kill you in an instant here but that's not what I want you to look at focus on my skin people focus! Taken after using the eskinol + myra e combo

Aside from these it was just as usual as it was. I am lucky I was one of those who never had any break out even during my teen years so I cannot comment if this is good for the acne. I heard some said they were able to conquer their break outs just by using this combo.

How long did you use it until you saw any improvement?
I did not really notice anything for the first few days. I only noticed the effect after a week of using it.

Is it effective?
Based on my experience yes. It has lessen my oily face drastically. It has also helped my pores.

How long have you been using it?
I have been using it for almost 2 months now and I can say that its working wonders for me:)

Anything you did not like about it?
Nothing in particular. When you put myra E inside make sure you either put a hole on the soft gel capsule or you just squeeze out what's inside the capsule into the bottle. I did the latter since I didn't see the use of the capsule being inside the eskinol bottle.

Would you recommend it?
Yes, however I would like to give you a precaution that everyone has different skin type. What might work for me might not work for you. Use at your own risk.

Yes I would :) it has given me a positive result so I will continue using it.

Happy valentines y'all! :D I thought I should dedicate at least one post on my blog about valentines :) I would love to look back on this and check out what I have written :) hohoho What's my agenda? Well nothing really special for this day since the V'Day falls on a weekday too bad so sad for me :) ahahah anyhow me and my partner have decided to stay quiet and spend this day like any other day ♥ Don't get me wrong I love special days like this but I think we still have priorities we need to focus on.. BUT I am not saying we're not gonna celebrate it! We're planning to go on a date this weekend yay! I wanted to watch John Wick 2 so we might ( cross fingers) =D I am also planning to go on a spa to get a relaxing massage since we have been busy this week I mean seriously busy! That's prolly the reason why I wasnt able to update my blog as much as I used to and go to events as much as I would want to.

I would also love to visit a new local diners and probably make a review on it. I've got loads on my draft that I was working on hopefully I'll be able to finish them ahahah so that's how I will spend my V'Day after all according to one of my friends;

A couple of days a go I had the chance to go out of my nest (yes my nest since I have been staying at home for quite sometime now and playing online games LOL) Since It was a weekday I've decided to spend it wisely. Me and my boyfriend have always wanted to get the newly improved postal ID. So for today's post I will tell you about my experience in applying the newly improved postal ID.

Where to apply

Philpost has provided the places and location where you can apply for it you can check out the list here. Since I live in Imus Cavite, we went to the main post office to apply, which is located in Palico (If you are from Imus just tell the jeepney driver to drop you off in "LTO" they should know where it is)

Upon arriving, we saw a couple of people who were filling up the forms. I was expecting to line in a long queue however I was surprised to see that it wasn't the case. We must have been lucky :D

We went straight to one of the windows so we could talk to the staff. We were asked if we've got our requirements with us, since I have prepared the night before (I checked the requirements on their website) we gave the required documents without delay.

After checking the documents we were asked to fill out the application form. It only took us less than 10 minutes to complete them.

After filling up the application form, we gave it back, We were then asked to pay the required fee which amounted to PHP504.00 inclusive of tax.

After that we were asked to go to the capturing room located at right side of the post office. The room was very small and there was a woman who was in charge of taking our pictures and information.

The woman was very nice and very friendly. I was asked to sit in front of the camera when it was my turn.

The woman said I can smile but without showing my teeth xD

After taking my pictures, signature and fingerprints, the woman started typing all the information I wrote on my application form into their database. She was nice enough to ask me to verify all the information that she was typing and check if there was any error. I was asked to check it one last time for any error because according to her once it was sent you cannot change it.

I was finally able to smile without laughing

Once it was sent successfully we were given the receipts and was asked to wait for a couple of weeks for our postal ID to be delivered in our house.

That's it! Wasn't it easy?The whole experience took less than 45 minutes. We were lucky that there weren't many people in the post office so it was seamless and hassle free.

What do you like about it?

♥The whole experience was very easy and hassle free.
♥The staff were very friendly especially the woman who was in charge of taking pictures. She was very kind to ask me to check everything and she was also very accommodating.
♥ No more community tax and 2x2 pictures wuhaaay
♥Its now recognized as a primary ID (kudos to the government ♥)

Do you think that it is better than before?

Definitely! It is more secured, Our fingerprints were taken which make it harder to make fake ones. Its more durable as well.

How long does it take for it to be delivered?
Mine should take about 15 to 20 days. If you're in a rush there is also an option for you to choose the faster shipment you just need to pay more.

I will get back on this post again so I can update you guys once I receive my postal ID :)

Update:

I just received my postal ID today! (Feb 14 2017) I applied for it last January 27 2017 so more or less it took 2 weeks plus :) not bad! I was expecting it to be more than that.. goes to show that the philpost has somewhat improved lol
Here's my actual postal ID check em out :)

How's the ID? It was made out of plastic same materials used for driver's license waaaay better than the old one where you had to laminate it lol! This is also the best picture I have had for postal! =D

Did you pick it up? Nope It was delivered to me by the mail man :) he was friendly too. I did not have to go back to the post office to pick it up :) another improvement from the government ♥

How to get the Newly improved Postal ID

New year has come! New year means new beginning :) So before I continue on my resolution and all, I would like to share with you how I celebrated new year and what food I prepared ♥

I wanted to do prepare something different for the new year celebration so I have decided to prepare a sangyeopsal parteeeey! :) I am a fan of korean food so I thought why not incorporate it with the ongoing holidays right?

Here are the food that I have prepared for my sangyeopsal party, I think that Without them my sangyeopsal party would never be the same :D

Kimchi

It wont be the same without kimchi! :) Kimchi is life! har har har on a serious note since I wasn't able to make one so I bought one! a home made one :) I was lucky enough to find a korean store that sells authentic home made kimchi. I prefer the home made one than the ones you buy from the supermarket. The taste is way different.

Perilla leave

I've so wanted to taste this, so when I found out that the korean store where I bought all the ingredients I need for my mini sangyeopsal party I made sure to include it. The taste is between basil and mint. If you've never tasted basil or mint you would probably not like this. It was pretty new to me when I first tasted it but as I eat more of it, it became a natural part of my sangyeopsal wrap

Lettuce

Sangyeopsal would not be the same without these delicious green leaves. Its crispy and its healthy!

ssamjang

ssamjang is a sauce that you typically put in your sangyeopsal wrapped. I cannot really explain how it taste but it is some where between spicy, salty and sweet. One of the important ingredients you should definitely have for your sangyeopsal party

Garlic , onion & mushroom

These are optionals. My partner doesnt like garlic and loves to put onion instead while I am opposite. It really depends on your taste bud. I also love fried mushroom so I've had some left overs from my japchae so I've decided to include them.

Pork belly

And of course without this sangyeopsal party is incomplete! I usually go for the bacon cut so I bought this from Robina from Robinsons Imus.

Other food that I prepared for the new year's eve:

Japchae

It has been a tradition to prepare something long like pasta to signify longevity so instead of a normal "pancit" or spaghetti that I am used to.. I've decided to make a Japchae, a stir fried noodles made from sweet potato, vegetables and meat. First time I made this so I wasnt sure if it would turn out the way it should be but I've tried my best to make it as authentic as possible. I think it was sucess based on the reactions I've gotten teehee ♥

Leche flan and Ube

My partner made sure to buy us desserts, he bought leche flan and ube. some of neighbours shared theirs too so we were lucky enough to have graham cake and and jelly in a tub. ( thank you neighbours!)

I know I've been talking about food but It was such a waste not sharing with you guys what I've had for my media noche. I am also hoping that this year would be a good one for me, that is why I've decided to fulfill my new years resolution! :D I would probably talk about it on my next post :) stay tune!

P.S If you guys are wondering where I got my delicious kimchi, I bought mine from the korean shop near SM Dasmarinas. I'll probably do a review on the said shop since I found so many good products from there.

Celebrating new year 2017: Food for media noche

Merry Christmas guys!! :) How was you Christmas this year? Hopefully You've had a great time. Christmas is one of the most important holidays in our country so we tend to celebrate it in the grandest way we can But in my case I celebrated it very simple.

How did you spend your Christmas?

I spent it at home and basically did nothing ! ahahaha well when you become an adult you do more chores on holidays! I cooked and I did the dishes ahahahah I seriously think Christmas is for children. They get to appreciate it more than adults do sigh that is the reality T___T some friends visited my house so we had a few drinks.

On Christmas day I woke up at about 3pm and decided not to go out since I did not want to experience the Christmas rush ( yeah yeah I am such a dork) I watched movies and also had my daily dose of korean variety show. So that was it :) It was such as quiet Christmas for me :)

Can you tell us what did you prepare for Noche buena?

Our noche buena was a little bit different than the usual.. I wanted to prepare food that me and my partner crave =D

♥Okonimiyaki

Yeah I made okonomiyaki for our noche buena! I seriously think I am good at making it!! harharhar one of these days I'll also do a post about dish I make and their recipes. :D

♥Baked mac (no bake)

Since my oven is not working okay I've decided to make a baked mac (no bake). It was my first time making it so I thought I did good :D I'll also do a post about it next time ♥ My partner loves baked mac so I've decided to make one.

♥Potato salad & Fruit Salad

One of my favorites! I randomly went to youtube for the recipe since I don't know how to make one and Yeah I did better than I thought :) It was so good my partner wanted me to make one the day after Christmas. And of course fruit salad! one of my traditional dishes for Christmas and or new year. Too bad no pictures for them since i forgot to take some :p

Since there were only two of us at home I only prepared a few dishes :)

What is the highlight of your Christmas?

I think the fact that I was able to surprise my partner :) it was the highlight of my Christmas =D Since he's been eyeing a new set of vape (the older one was broken) I've decided to surprise him. He didn't know that I already bought it a week before Christmas. ♥♥ his reaction was priceless! check out the video :D i apologize in advance its in the vernacular language =3

Christmas this year was very quiet :) its not like i did not want to celebrate it with a bang , I prefer it to be quiet and stress free.. maybe because I am getting older shucks I know right???!

Spending Christmas 2016

I am actually having a hard time choosing the title of this post. I wanted it to be more creative and more eye catching however I could not find the right words that would fit this post. So I have decided to just be straight forward. So yeah this post is about my horrendous journey in applying for the PLDT Fiber.

Why did you apply for it?

As a person who is working at home, stable connection is vital. Unstable connection means your work will be affected tremendously. In my case my work belongs to the No work No pay category so imagine if my connection becomes intermittent or when internet connection becomes unavailable... I am basically loosing money. So why? Simple because I wanted to find a good internet provider that will give me a stable connection.

How about your previous internet provider?

In all honesty my previous internet provider Globe was okay I was with them for over 4 years or so... the main problem I've had was that it becomes very unstable when it rains or when the weather changes. It also slows down the second the weather changes from sunny to rainy.

4 years?! What made you decide to finally switch?

Like I've mentioned I have been so loyal to Globe even though at times I get agitated when the connection becomes unstable or when the connection goes down that I wanted to freaking throw my modem and smash it (you feel me? that's how frustrated I was) Then One day as I was walking I saw this big tarpaulin on the way back home like literally few blocks away from my subdivision that says powered by "pldt fiber up to 100mbps" and I was like sooo fiber is now available in our area wohooo!

I know a little about fiber connection since I used to work as a Technical rep from well known call centre company in our country. So I know that it is way better than the typical broadband/dsl we have. I also found out that our Bgy. Hall was also on fiber connection so that made me want to finally switch and say good bye to my old provider.

I finally decided to apply for PLDT fiber. Since I had no idea where to go or who to contact I've decided to use their online application that was available on their website. I had to fill up an application form so I did. It also asked me to send a valid ID as the requirement which I gladly sent along with my application. After sending it I received and email and a text stating that I would get a call within 24-48 hrs.

August 12 - 16 2016

Come 2 days no call or txt for me so I was really confused as to why I did not get any calls. So I made a follow up on their page after 2 days of applying and this was their response :

Apparently there was a duplicate name. Even though I've only applied with them once recently..I thought that perhaps they were seeing the application I made from 7 yrs back for a DSL connection.

after that they've replied back asking for my complete address and I was also asked to provide 2 PLDT telephone numbers. I made an effort to ask my neighbors for the telephone numbers so I could get this settle once and for all.

After providing the details I asked them when will I get an update or feedback to which they replied that it is still on process and they would get back to me. Since I did not want to sound like a nagging customer I patiently waited for their supposed update. I did not want to jeopardize the on going process of my application.

August 23 2016

The so called call that I was supposed to have never came, no updates nothing so I finally decided to once again make a follow up and message through their FB page at the same time email their customer service. I got this as a reply:

By this time I was getting furious since after the conversation we've had this was their answer? I mean come on! I was already waiting and have been very patient and this was their reply?!

I answered by sending them the reference number that was given to me and have told them that I was supposed to get a call but I never did. I did not want to submit another application since I did not want to get another duplicate and would just delay my application in the process.

Since I am starting to get pissed I also sent an email to them stating my dissatisfaction on how they handle my application 3 weeks after sending the application I still did not get the call. To which they have apologized.

By this time I was frantically looking for an agent or a human person I can talk to so I can get my application processed since almost 3 weeks after sending my application I still do not know the status of it.

August 24 2016

After searching on Fb pages and joining groups to find an agent near my area that I could talk to I finally found some one that handles PLDT DSL/FIBER account. I have told her my situation and she said that the I won't be able to get the call since my requirement is incomplete.

I was supposed to give a valid ID and a proof of billing. However I told her that If you apply through website it would only ask you for the Valid ID, it never asked me for any proof of billing.

Our conversation went on a little bit further , she had checked that our area is fiber capable so she said that she would get some one to drop by my house so I could fill in a new application and I can send proper requirements.

August 25 2016

I finally got the call that I was waiting for 3 weeks after my application. The representative apologized and said that there was some problem with my application and so they could not find it blah blah blah. Since I already applied all I need was to submit a sub certificate to sign, he said he would send it through my email after our conversation. I waited no email came in.

August 26 2016

An agent came in our house with the application. I fill out another form, I have also sent the requirements they needed including the proof of billing. I asked them when will I get a feed back and the agent replied that I should hear from them within a week.

By this time I started not to care if my application will be duplicated, I've waited for 3 weeks and my application went nowhere. So I gambled on the fact that that I am now speaking with an agent.

September 6 2016

After 10 days of waiting I never got any update from the agent that was sent to my house nor the email that I was supposed to get from the sales representative that promised to send the documents after our conversation. I have texted the agent that came to my house and asked how come no update was made. I never got any reply.

I decided to messaged the first person I talked with ( that one that sent the agent to my house) I got a reply from her. After exchanging messages as to why her agent did not even update me she finally said I was on manual reservation.

Manual reservation? I am not really aware what that meant I mean who would? and here was her explanation:

So in my mind this must be some kind of temporary delay so I said I will get back to her in 3 to 5 days not knowing what was Manual reservation really meant.

September 9 2016

I made a follow up on my application since It was nearly a month since I applied for the fiber connection. and this was her response:

By this time I am totally pissed off nearly 1 month of my application and I do not really understand what is really going on.. I have applied through website my application went nowhere. I finally got a person to speak with and an agent came to my house but I have no idea what the hell is the status of my application since they seldom make an update

September 12 2016

I was so pissed I finally decided to call the PLDT hotline using my land line because I was already agitated with my application going nowhere for a month so I couldn't careless if my phone bill would go skyrocket.

The customer representative I spoke with checked my application and she saw that my application was there but upon checking she said that our area isn't Fiber ready. Say Whuuuuuut?? I am really furious since after all the application I did and wasted effort my area is not fiber ready?

I messaged the agent once again for clarification and by this time I am really giving up on having the fiber connection so I said that if its not available I would just go ahead with the DSL connection instead.

She called and we talked about what the representative told me and clarify what what the representative meant. I also asked her to clarify regarding the manual reservation thing. Based on my understanding Yes our area is fiber capable BUT no slot available.

The manual reservation meant that since the box where the fiber is connected has no slot . I am on manual reservation which means that if ever some one will disconnect their line ( I mean who would??!) I am next to get it. So it may take months and months before I can avail for it.

So did I get the PLDT Fiber? NO It took them nearly a month to literally tell me that there is no slot for me.

I realized that getting a fiber connection is basically impossible unless I would wait for god knows how many months.

I have decided to just take her offer for the copper dsl connection. Since I am switcher (switching to PLDT from a different provider) I am entitled on their promo of 50% . I said to just go ahead with the DSL application instead. To get the promo I had to submit another requirement a receipt of the latest bill of my then internet service provider.

September 16 2016

I finally submitted the last requirement through the agent I told him to update me every now and then but I guess update was never in their vocabulary.. there no update or follow up. Because I did not want to stress my self out pretty much further I gave up on the fiber and the follow ups. I only did one follow up on my DSL application that was on September 22 2016

October 6 2016

3 weeks after sending my last requirement with no updates or what so ever the Installer finally came to install my DSL connection which took more or less 30 minutes.

goodbye globe 2012 -2016

Nearly 2 months of application for PLDT fiber to PLDT DSL. I was really drained. I never knew that applying for PLDT connection would be so hard. The whole process took more or less 2 months. I do not like to rant the whole process was so bad I literally regretted applying for it.

So what really went wrong?

The call

The call was supposed to come 24-48hrs but it never did. I also missed one call from them during the process because they only called once!

I was on the verge of answering like literally just one push but it stopped ringing, thinking they would call again I waited but they never called back. I guess they are only allowed to call customers once a week?

Customer service

They are not knowledgeable enough to accommodate customers. I was really furious when the customer representative told me that our area is not fiber ready but it turned out that it is however there is no slot available.

PLDT agents

I think need to be trained on their customer service. The agent that was sent to me did not even have the guts to update me. So I have no way for me to know what was really going on I had to go my way out to call PLDT hotline to get an update. Agents were some what rude at least in my opinion.

There was no really explanation on what they mean about manual reservation. So my understanding of manual reservation was something like a temporary of delay. Something that can be fixed in a couple of weeks or so. But I was wrong.

So if you are applying for PLDT Fiber just make sure that you are ready to get this type of service and have the patience of a saint. Like what the agent told me.. this is the curse of PLDT

P.S Since I do not own any smart or talk n txt sim card I did not know that you can call pldt hotlines for free. Had I known I would have not wasted money calling from my landline ( which happened to be Globe and we are located in cavite so it was long distance call)
